When we got back home from Chile we realized that we haven't been in DC. to see all the monuments, White House and everything else around. So last weekend we headed to DC. OH HOW FUN!!!...we didn't have any schedule or timing. We wanna just relax and enjoy the day. We took Jack with us. He was pretty good. We went to all the monuments first and then The White House. Kaylita had a tinny tantrum as you can see in some of the pictures but nothing big, she was just tired of walking and "her sugar" went down...ha. We fed her and let her rest for a while and after that she was totally fine. Mimi was excited to learn and see everything with daddy. She loves to her the story behind of each place we visited. I felt sad when we visited the wall with all the names of the soldier who died in different wars. They were so many!...I felt grateful too for their sacrificing for me...because all of them I can be free here with my family. We were walking for almost 4 hours. We got some t-shirts for the girls (they said Washington dc). My favorite place was The White House...I always saw it on TV but being here was a dream come true...not that I love the W.H. that much but what I mean by that is that I never imagined when I was a little girl that someday I would standing right there, you know?. The other one was the A Lincoln monument. The same thing I saw thousands of movies were they showed it and I was there now. Taking pictures with my family. Crazy,uh?
The colors weren't that pretty at all. I wish we would come in spring, the trees and colors in DC at that time are amazing!.oh well, at least we saw all the squirrels and we enjoyed a warm beautiful shiny day together. We went to the Temple after and the evening at the Temple was awesome!
