Ginger Bread "Skype" Houses

I don't get tired of saying over and over how much I love Skype!!!!. This time because we were able to do Ginger Bread Houses with my mom via Skype.
My dad has been in the hospital for a couple of days now. He suffered intense bleeding while he was at home. Thanks Heavens that my brothers, Claudio and Fernando were there to help him and take him to emergency room right away!. He fainted a couple of times in the car, because of the bleeding but at the hospital they were able to stabilized him, however he kept bleeding, he was not doing good at that time. I'm glad they kept him there 'cause at the hospital they have everything he needs in case of another emergency not the same situation if he would be home alone with my mom. They still don't know at this point what happened, they did some test but all of them came back normal so now they have to do some more and an endoscopy too, but he is not ready for those test yet. I called early today to check how is he doing and he is doing way better. He is not in danger anymore, but He is gonna have to stay in the hospital for a while. The doctors want to be sure he is 100% ok to go home, They don't want to take any chance that he will have a relapse. They don't think he would make it next time.
So, he wasn't there to do Ginger Bread Houses with us, that made me sad because he was so eager to do this with our girls this year. He was so excited to see them on line and share this fun activity with them.
My mom, Fernando, Claudio and David were there though. It was so fun. We laughed and teased the whole entire time!. They teased me about my silly design. My house looked more like an outhouse hahaha. Kyle, Dominique and Kayla's houses were so cute buildt and decorated...I guess I'm not the talented one in our family, haha!. My mom had a blast looking at Dominique and Kayla, how into the design and decorations they were. They couldn't even talk to my mom because of the intensity of the concentration on what they were doing. They didn't dare to be distracted. Fernando, Claudio and David were teasing me for my terrible work on my little house but of course cheering Mimi and Kayla for their wonderful work!. Skype is so cool that I even were able to take really clear pictures of my mom and my girls together!...HOW COOL IS THAT!!!. Well, The only one more thing I have to say is...MERRY MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!.

We bought a House!!!...Our Home!

Last summer, Kyle and me started to check into everything we needed to buy a house this year. We have been renting since we got married so we think its time to buy now. The market and our credit situation looked perfect this time...besides, we are moving from the place we are renting no matter what at the end of the year because the landlord is gonna raise the rent price again from $1.200 to $1.400 there's no way we will pay that much money just for rent!...With that much money we can pay a nice house of our own! It was a lot last time he raised the rent and at that time it was impossible for us to moved so he got stuck with it so this time...$1.400 it will be ridiculous!. We are tired of renting and not been able to do any improvement, change or whatever we want the way we wanted... in a few words...WE ARE DONE RENTING!
We found the perfect home just 2 blocks from where we were before and we love it!. The girls would stay in their school, I would keep my job...Kyle would have no problems changing anything either about bus and all that stuff for his commute to work, etc,etc,etc, It looked that everything was gonna be an easy move... I hope!
We decided to moved on Saturday the 17 right before Christmas.

Baptisim Day, Moving Day, GREAT DAY!!!!
We woke up super early. Kyle went to get the moving truck and at 10am we were ready to star moving all our stuff to our new home!. WE were ready but just one brother showed up on time...so poor Kyle and brother Hutching had to move a lot of stuff all by themself for a little while. Peter called more people and maybe at 12pm we had 6 brothers helping. We moved most of the big stuff in the morning but we had tons of little stuff than it felt they never ended. We knew we had to finish before 3pm because at that time we needed to connect with the Elders in Chile so we could see my aunt's baptism on Skype. Elder family was coming to see it with us. I was so excited and happy I couldn't even think straight. We clean and put away the most we could before the time for the baptism. Right on time we and Elder's were sitting watching all the preparations at the Church in Chile. We were able to talk to my aunt Amanda and my cousin Mirtha, my mom and 2 aunts, Minerva, my mom's younger sister and Aida, my mom's older sister were there too supporting my aunt Amanda. Amanda's son, my cousins Pedro and Alfredo were there,I was able to talk with them. My aunt Minerva and Aida were talking with us too. It was such a happy momment for everybody, specially for me!!!...finally somebody in my family got baptized!. It was such an amazing feeling when they got in the water and were baptized by the Elder. I was so happy! I felt the spirit so strong, I know my uncle Alfredo was there in spirit too!. I translated the talks for the Elders family. They were really touched to see their son baptizing two of his investigators and been able to meet them not just to read about them but see them!. It was the sweetest blessing ever to see and be there for such and important momment for my family!.
Kyle and me were so tired at the end of the day but we couldn't be more happy for such an important things that happended today in our life! Literally...NEW HOME...NEW LIFE!!!!

The Czirrs Family Christmas Party 2011

We had so much fun, as always, at The Czirrs Christmas Family Party. Rachel was the host this year and she did awesome!. The food, games, talent show...everything went perfect. Almost everybody came. Grandma and Grandpa came dressing up as a "who". grandpa even color his hair green!. They looked funny and cool at the same time. We took pictures, talked, had fun, ate and at the end of the party, as always again...I was dead! The great thing of the day was that on the way to Mapleton the traffic was perfect, it took us just 30 minutes to get there!...loved it!.
We went to visit Shelley for a little while before the party. I told her about my 86 year old aunt, Amanda and my cousin who are getting baptized tomorrow and we are gonna be able to see it on skype, how cool is that!?.
I forgot to mention that Kyle and me went to the Timpanogo's Temple today. We did baptisms for all my dad's family. I felt the spirit so strong!. We had lunch at the Temple as a date. It was a really fun and busy day!

We love our family life together because it gives us the chance to love and to work and to play and to look up the stars holding hands and having fun everyday.
It was a beautiful cold sunny day but we decided to go to the park anyways today. We took Jack with us. He was so happy, as always, to go out for a walk, especially to the park...where he can find so many trees!!!!.
The girls were rolling down the hill, climbing the trees, chasing Jack who was trying to run away every 2 seconds. Kyle and me were enjoying our time watching the girls having fun!. Then the girls were attacking daddy...what was I doing?...duh!...talking all this pictures!...I got some good ones of Mimi, which makes me happy as always!.

Working Together

It was a beautiful sunny day, so we got paint and there we went!...a paint project in front of us waiting to be done. Our room set furniture needed some "TLC", we will be moving soon and we don't have money to buy a new one so here we were trying our best to make the old one look better. When we finished, MAN...IT LOOKED GOOD!...I was so excited to see it in our room now, I knew it was gonna look great!. Dominique and Kayla were such a great painters. They enjoyed this activity, it was a great thing to do together, as a family, because they will be able to see their work everyday in the future and they will know that my room looks good because we worked together and they were such a wonderful helpers, like always are!

Thanksgiving Day

We decided to spend Thanksgiving at home with one of our friends, Ina and her kids today. We were gonna go to Mapleton with Grandma and Grandpa, but she has been sick and when I called her to see all the arrangement, things that I need to bring etc,etc. Then she started...because the house it's been kind of a "war place", Grandpa doesn't want to put the washer back so its right in the middle of the kitchen, and now right in the middle of thanksgiving he decided to work on the heat system of the house that brings more mess...so, Grandma sounded kind stress out about it ...you can tell just for the sound of her voice, besides she has been sick since last week.
The first thing she told me was that the kids weren't aloud to play because of the mess in the house...then, if Kyle and me could go and set up everything because Rachel wasn't felling good, that we were have to do dishes in a certain way, plus more things to bring than I expected, then that we could stay longer than she said because she wanted to rest, bla, bla,bla...while I was listening my whole head started to spin around!...I started to have this feeling of "anger"...kind of...I don't know...I wanted to relax and have fun and here I was, listening to her telling me a "thousand" rules and jobs taht they have must to be done...what the heck!...I worked the whole week, I just wanted to be able to enjoy the holiday with my family so I told her I didn't know IF we were gonna go. She sounded mad at me but...whatever!. I don't like when she tells me what or not to do, that's it!.
We spended relaxing and fun Thanksgiving with our friend Ina, who was going to spend it alone with her 2 kids.

We are the "Sickies"...Kayla, Dominique and me got "strep" so we had to miss our parties at school. They had to miss school; I had to miss work!...not a really fun thing to do on a day like this... What a bummer! Kayla got a really bad case of strep this time; she got a rash everywhere on her body and her eyes and face were totally swollen, besides her high fever, all because of the strep. They were so excited to go trick or treating during the whole week before. They worked hard during the whole month to prepare and think about their costumes, so how could I tell them they couldn't go?...so... what the heck! I let them go trick or treating anyway. All of us were already on meds so we weren't contagious anymore and Kayla's fever went down. Dominique was a Cheerleader and Kayla wanted to be a Gypsy. Both of them looked beautiful in their outfits and had tons of fun getting candies. Mimi got home earlier though--she wasn't feeling so good so she just went out for an hour. Then Kayla went trick or treating with Valentina, they stayed for almost 2 1/2 hours knocking doors and getting more and more candies!
Meanwhile, I was with Ina and my parents at home. They were on Skype...giving candies outside. This is what I did. I put the laptop on a chair and let my parents do "trick or treating" for me. It was so fun for them...they were able to see and have fun on Halloween with us!!!...all because of "Internet and Skype"...oh my gosh, how I love technology!. We have been able to do and share so many things with my family in Chile ...things that we couldn't before...like B-days, first day of school, 4 of July, etc, etc, etc. We are so looking forward to Christmas this year. It will be fun for my girls and my parents to spend it together via Skype!
Trick or treating was extra fun for me because my parents could be right by my side this year. The Kids who came to our house to ask for candies were thrilled because my parents were online. Kids were talking to my parents and having fun with them. The little ones would just stare at them...they couldn't figure out what the heck was going on!...there they were....2 old faces talking to them in Spanish on a box...WEIRD! Then it got dark--they couldn't see anything else so Halloween was over for them. I stayed giving candies for another hour...and then Halloween was over for us too, until next year again!...What a fun Day! Happy Halloween to everybody!!!

Strep

Kayla started to feel sick last week...she got some rash first...I thought she got allergic to dust or something on the air, I didn't pay too much attention until her whole body was covered. Then fever came along...so I decided to take her to the doctor because beside the fever her face got swollen too. What did she have?...STRET!..the doctor said she got a strong case of strep...poor Kayla...she looked funny with her puffy eyes!.

We had our Czirr's Family Halloween Party on the Friday before the 31st at The Swensons. It took us 2 2/1 hours to get there...all because of the construction on the freeway...I almost decided to go back home. Every single street was crazy, where ever we were was a huge traffic jam!.
Almost everybody made it to the party though. I was so freaking tired that the only thing that was in my mind was my bed! The girls had lots of fun with their cousins and playing games with Melanie. It was nice to see everybody...I won't be driving 2 hours again though just to go to a Halloween party that last not more than 1 hour!.

Going for a Sunday Ride...

What a beautiful Sunday afternoon! Right after church and after we ate something,we decided to go on a ride to the Draper Temple. We wanted to take the Draper mountain road..the one that goes behind the Temple on Highland Drive. It was such a beautiful scene! we could see both Utah Valley and the Salt Lake Valley. We took pictures of both too. Then we stopped at the Temple and enjoyed the view all around. Our girls were a little bit "touchy" and were fighting most of the way. After a while they got in a better mood. We had fun after all. We had a nice Sunday Ride and it was nice to have the memories of a family ride together.

El 18 de Septiembre...Fiestas Patrias Chilenas!

We got together with a couple of friend's families to celebrate the Chilean Independence Day in the Chilean way MIERCALE!!!! with lots of food, meat, empanadas, pebre, loud music...the only thing missing was the CHICHA!!!...haha. My girls had lots of friends to play with, Jack had a huge left over plate just for him. We danced a lot and laughed so hard. We had such a great time celebrating and enjoying our "table" in the Chilean way, meaning: talking a lot and making fun and laughing at everybody and of everything!. I was so freaking tired at the end of the day that when everybody left I went straight to sleep as soon as I put my head on the pillow! Dominique, Kayla and Kyle did the same. The girls said to me today...:"Chileans really know how to have fun!". I like when we do things that are part of my culture. Seeing my girls enjoying it, its a great feeling!. It means a lot to me that Dominique and Kayla learn what and how we do thing in my culture. The same when I try the best I can so they keep in touch with my family in Chile. I always want for them to love this country , they were born here and they are Americans but at the same time I want them to know ,learn and love my country and my culture because is part of them too...I know they do!

As I always say, to take one picture of Mimi its a dilemma so for her to let me do it ...it was a huge thing!....but lately she has been more willing to spend some time in front of the camera, so it was a blessing! I know its not her favorite thing to do during her free time so I really appreciate when she let me do it because she just wants me to be happy. She knows my favorite thing is taking lots of pictures of them. I took these ones after their Activity Day trip to the Timpanogos Temple. I love each one of them.

I Wanna Go to the Temple Someday

Activity Day was about "Prepare to go to the Temple someday". How to be and keep yourself worthy and how important is to marry in the Temple...so, the Leaders took all the 15 girls to the Timpanogos Temple.
I feel bless to have 2 beautiful daughters who are willing to do whatever it takes to be worthy to marry in the Temple of God. They learned about the covenants we make there and how they can help our Heavenly Father in His plan of salvation doing baptisms for the deaths when they turn 12. The leaders took all the girls inside the Temple, in the hall, so they could see and feel the peace inside. They were so reverent and you could see the happiness on their face for this opportunity to go inside together. I know they will never forget the feeling they had there and the beautiful gospel truth they learned today. After, they went to the Temple's field and were asked to write about their feelings while they sit alone on the grass. They had their own time, to ponder and feels our Heavenly Father's love for them. I was feeling so grateful for the leaders and for the time and effort they put to teach this group of girls, "my girls"...what its really important in life. When I was looking at each one of the girls I was thinking "oh how beautiful and precious they are!"...then I felt Heavenly Father talking to me and saying:..."Can you see, if you feel this way about them ...you can't even imagine the love that I, GOD has for each one of them, they are MY creations!...Nothing can be more important than them for Me, NOTHING!.
I felt the spirit so strong. I gave thanks to my Father above for letting me know that I'm not alone protecting my girls in this world.

Splashing' Good Time at the Pool

We got a Family Season-pass for the Lehi-Outdoor Pool this year. We spent almost every single summer day there...it was so fun! We had such a fun time together as a family, enjoying the cold water and wonderful weather!. The weather this year wasn't as hot as others years before. I think we reached the 100's just a couples of times, that's it!. We got a pass for Mary"fulina" too, so she went we us all the time. The best part was when Daddy could go with us during weekends,...it was such a joy for the girls...they are so in-love with daddy and daddy didn't have any chance to relax or do what he wanted BUT to do whatever THEY said!...its always like this anyway in our family, daddy doesn't have to much to say when the girls are around... Poor daddy and then if they are not around ....I'm around!!!...so he doesn't have any choice either...haha.
I really enjoyed going with my girls and have that special time with them, like a mommy-daughter dates. We spent hours at the pool!. They are such a good swimmers!. Kayla learned how to dive and Mimi too!. I loved to see them jumping off the diving board and climbing the rock wall. Being a mom is fun!...specially when I see them enjoying life!

So, Summer Days this year were fun, cool and splashy!

WoW! I can believe School started today!..My girls are growing so fast!. Dominique is in 5th grade and Kayla is in 4th grade this year.Getting ready this time was more fun for me than years before. They were so excited to see their friends but for me its was exciting to see them talking about what they were gonna wear, make up and all those girly stuff. It took them a couple of hours to get ready. They were giggling and having so much fun before they left. I was having fun just to look at them ...I was thinking my little "muffins" are not little any more...although they are still my "muffins", they are young ladies now...thinking about boys,friends, make-up and have fun.

The Czirr's Girls go out on a Date

We decided to have a "Mommy & Daughters" date today to the Aquarium. School will start in a few days so we thought it was a good idea to go before that happens. It was a really nice day, not really hot and we didn't have anything else to do after so we weren't in any hurry at all... we could enjoy anything and everything.
...well, the girls started to fight in the car on the way to the Aquarium, nice!...then they were already a little bit "sassy" by the time we got there. I got upset ...so I asked them to try their best but even that I asked them a few time to stop...they kept going on and on with their attitude ...so, I decided to go home ...our date instead of being a super fun time together turned into a stressful and not that fun outing...I was sad and disappointed with them. I get frustrated, they are not little babies. They should behave better when we go out to have fun, so everybody can enjoy being together. We like to do things together but lately it's has been a pain!...there's always a fight or an attitude going on!..I hate it!...then I get all mad and frustrated and the fun its gone!...I'm not saying its all their fault because I should know better how to control my temper too and that's why I get so upset because when I get mad I don't know how to calm down, I just need to be alone,yell if I need to,etc,etc,etc.
Oh well, at least it wasn't the end of the world...and actually at the end of our date they said sorry ... we kissed and we all felt better!.

We always have known about Dominique's artistic talents. We know, talking for our whole family, that each week there's a different project coming up!. We always joke about it, because Dominique can't be still not even for 1 minute!...her mind is always working!...she said one night to us when she was maybe around 4 years old:..." mom can you turn off my brain so I can go to sleep, please?". Everybody had a good laugh!. She was a little baby maybe 2 when she started to color and love paper!..She ate paper, cut paper, glue paper...whatever you can think of but WITH PAPER!..and she was and is the same Dominique now!... but she keeps amazing us with her creations. She made this car yesterday. I was so impressed with all the details and creativity she put in it!...the steering wheel, the window on top, the doors...etc,etc,etc.
Dominique is for sure an artist! everything she does, she does it amazingly beautiful even all the mess she left behind of a day of "project creation".
What a blessing is to have her in our family!

Our "All American Girl"...Born in the USA!

Kayla turned 9 this year!...I can't believe how the time gone by!. She is turning into a beautiful and sweet young girl. Kayla is the most sweet, friendly, and adorable person...with a strong will personality since she was a little baby. Dominique said the other day..."Kayla surely is the heart of our family, I miss her when she is not with us". Kayla is one of the most important part of our family. We love her dearly!...I remember when she was a baby how much she loved to cuddle and be kissed by mama, she still does!. She is Dominique's best friend and viceversa. She knows how to get whatever she wants with those big puppy eyes she has!. Kayla is a MAMA'S GIRL!
Kayla wanted a Summer 4 of July B-Day Party with all her friends this year. That's what she wanted that's what she got!. We had to have it on June 21st because of the weird weather, and we knew for sure that day was gonna be hot, so...We got the 4 of July b-day cup cakes she wanted, balloons,treats,games, a movie, water and of course, make yourself ice cream sundae!!..lots of sugar involved!. It was a blast!...Kayla had lots of fun and everybody looked happy. Melanie was in charge of the games. Melanie is our girls favorite auntie. They have this really cool relationship between them and I loved it!. I'm happy to know that they have somebody else beside me they can trust and count on.
So, the party was a success!, then...3 hours later I went to have the rest I deserved!

Any Man Can Be A Father, But It Takes Someone Special To Be A Daddy

Dominique and Kayla had been planning what they were gonna do for "Daddy special day". They didn't want me to help but just to buy "manjar" and the book Daddy wanted so bad...everything else was taking care of...letters, breakfast menu, and a special song for him. They did the pancakes with manjar.
They can't love their daddy more than they already do!!!...Their daddy is everything for them!...I love to see them playing tickle monster every night and when daddy its to tired... just a couple of puppy eyes, with some tears and daddy is ready to play again no matter how tired he is...Love the relationship that girls have with their daddies!...Daddy, of course used his endless "nap coupon" for this year again...and who cares, today was his day!

SPRING, the Sweet Spring...

Dominique, Kayla and Mary found a cute Robbin bird's nest in our front tree. It is so low that it has been really easy to see and check on it on a daily basis. I have never had the opportunity before to see the day a day process with birds eggs...it's been really cool to experience this with my girls. We get up early each day to check on the eggs and see the mama bird. It is so freaking cute how she tries to protect her eggs and stays there looking at me, at first she flied away but stayed close enough to see what I was doing but after a while she comes back and stays so close that sometimes I can even touch her...she doesn't not leave her eggs. What a brave mama!. The other day we saw how one of the eggs cracked and this little tiny bird went out!...so helpless, it was AMAZING!...Oh how beautiful are God's creations!. he has made this world and everything is here is for us to enjoy and be happy. Life is hard sometimes but when you see little miracles like a birth of a tiny creature like a bird you feel that everything its worth it and we have happiness right in front of us!.

Kayla, Dominique and Valentina...Skating Fun!

I got lots of free coupons for Classic Skating from my school this year...so we decided to invite Valentina to go with us. When I asked Vale about if she would like to go she sounded so excited and confident that it never crossed my mind she didn't know how to skate...We got there and the 3 of them got their skates and got ready to have fun, but....Vale spended more time on the floor, hurting than really skating...my girls were trying the whole time to help her and Vale no matter what she had one thing in her mind...not to give up and learned how to do it ..in one day! ...I was concerned that her whole body was gonna be bruised and in pain when the day was over but she didn't care ..she is a "Dare Devil" ...seriously!...Dominique and Kayla kept telling her to slow down and had a rest but Vale...no sign of slowing down. Finally after maybe 1.000 "hit and keep running"..haha...she decided it was enough and we went home. They had a lot of fun...well, my girls at least....Vale?...I don't know for sure. The most funny thing was that when Vale put her roller skating on she went straight to skate...and she didn't know how so she felt down on her face right at the beginning and had a huge goose bump on her fore head. Did she cry?..no Did she got scare?...no

The Family that Works together... Stays together!

We have had the opportunity to be able to work together as a family this Summer. Its has been a blast and a life teaching experience for our girls...and as parents too. Our girls wanted to make money somehow and have asked for money to do chores around the house before, but I'm totally against paying them to do work around the house. They should be helping because they love their home and want to keep it nice and clean so the spirit, friends and ourself stay happy and comfy here. Kyle and me decided that we were not gonna pay them to do chores at all!... first because we don't have the money to do so and second because they should do it no matter what anyways. We wanted, as parents, to teach them the worth of work and money though but we never knew or had " the how" to do it.
Kyle came to me, one day at the beginning of this summer, asking me if I knew a friend in need who would like to work cleaning his office...weeeell! I thought...We are in need!...me and the girls got the whole summer doing nothing and as a family we needed the money anyways. Kyle told his boss that we were going to take the job. We talked to the girls and they loved the idea of working together and finally getting payed for it!. The job is super easy!. We go just on Saturdays in the morning, each one of us has an assignment... some dusting, vacuuming , garbage bags,
and filling up the soaps bottles and supplying the bathroom with more toilet paper some light bathroom cleaning and we are done!..its just takes us 45 minutes to 1 hour to be done...and as you know "Latinas" can't do the cleaning without music!...so we take the radio to listen and dance once in awhile during the cleaning time!. We really enjoy this time together even though it is work but just to be able to do it together and be payed for it, it makes it fun!.
The girls have been able to pay their tithing for the first time and buy whatever they want with their money. It has been a blessing for us in this time of need to have an extra income. We know our Heavenly Father is watching over us and helping us to keep going. It's been hard at times but we have never felt alone. We truly feel His love and caring for us every single day!. We are so thankful for all the blessing we have specially for our lovely and sweet daughters. We love them and without them we wouldn't be the family we are!

Here is Mrs. Clark , Kayla's favorite teacher ever!...and her friend Hanna

Mother's Day is here!. Kayla invited me to go to the program that her class had prepared for all the moms today. She was so excited for me to see and hear what she did!. I got out a little bit early from my work. It has been really important for me to be involved in all their activities and programs they do at school, even though I'm working, one of the things I had perfectly clear when I decided to work it was that I was gonna make the time to be always there for them, and this time was no exception!..It was so nice to see Kaylita's face when she saw me. She was so happy that I made it on time!...she wrote a letter saying the things I do and say all the time, why I was so special for her and how much she loved me. It was sweet and funny!...Before she even started to read I got up and started to scream and yelled her name all crazy and out of control cheering for her. She couldn't stop laughing. Everybody was laughing too. She said in her note "I love my mom because she is crazy and she loves to embarrassed me" hahaha. The "highlight" of the whole thing was that I could finally meet Kaylita's "crush"...Mason, who is in a dark vest in the pic. The guy in the orange shirt was Keltin who has a crush on Kaylita, a really big crush!. It was a wonderful time with my sweet Kaylita and realized how important was that I was there for her.

Coloring Eggs and Eggs Hunt in the Neighborhood

The day was kind of cold but that didn't stop the girls from having fun coloring eggs today. Valentina came and the 3 of them were coloring and decorating eggs the whole morning. The timing was perfect because right after we had The Neighborhood Egg Hunt 2011. All the kids were there. Everybody got prizes and had a blast.
We got ready to go to Mapleton after the girls were done with their activity. We stayed over night at Grandma's home.

Family Night Fun!

The Girl's school had a Family Night activity at the Classic Skating Center this week. Dominique and Kayla were excited to go and introduce all their friends to us. We went to pick up Kyle at work a little bit early so we could make it on time. We had such a fun time!. It was nice to see Mimi and Kayla playing with their friends, skating and dancing. We had a nice pizza for dinner and great music to dance that I loved!.
I personally love this kind of activities where you can go as a family because is the only time that Kyle can be involved in the girl's school. I know the memories of having fun as a family will stay forever with them.

The day is here! Kyle and Grandma went to Seattle,WA.... Fun trip?... not really, at least for Kyle who was going to take the 3 days Washington Bar. Grandma on the other hand...to have a fun visiting with her sister Susan and other family members who are living in the area.
Dominique and Kayla wanted to do something special for daddy so he would not forget that God would be there for him to help. So they wrote a message on his shirt: "What would Jesus do?...He won't freak out!!!..remember, Faith and Doubt, don't mix. love, your women". I thought it was funny but at the same time sweet because they really wanted for daddy to do good but specially relay on the Lord for help and to trust Him. I asked Kyle to please take care of himself, be responsible with what he eats because in my mind I was thinking "the only thing we need now is for him to get sick, diarrhea or something'. Hoping he would listen to me for ones...will see. I asked him to to have a good time with grandma and enjoy the most he could this trip, besides of The Bar. The girls were really sad because daddy was leaving for 3 days, they don't like to be without daddy, me either so hopefully this trip brings us good news in the future. We have prayed and fasted...now everything else is in God's hands.

Mary was 7 years old then, long blond hair, green eyes. She was and is the "bestest" friend ever!..She is funny, beautiful inside and out, she has a great attitude, she never fights and she keeps all the girls and family secrets!, She spend most of her life time in our home. As you know I'm one of the Activity Day leader...we get together with the girls every other Thursday at my house but this time we had our "shaving cream fight" activity day at the park yesterday. They have been really excited since they heard about it. The girls had a blast!...it was so fun to see them running, yelling and getting all messy with the shaving cream. It was pretty messy and I had a good laugh just looking at them, and taking pictures. Some of them were blind with cream all over their faces...even though they were wearing goggles they got cream in their eyes...don't ask me how?. Next activity is "makeover for mom", an Mom/Daughter actovity day... They are gonna do a makeover for their moms!!!. Tell me who doesn't want to do that?, well...besides their moms..hahaha. It will be fun!

Kayla's Baptism Day

My little "misifulina" , Kayla,got baptized last Saturday. I haven't seen a happier girls ever!..She was so happy and I quote..." I feel my heart is gonna explode, mom!". She told me she wanted to be and example for her grandpa Gabriel in Chile and for the whole family. She said to me that for the first time she really felt as a "princess" and that she knew that if she kept the commandments she will become a "Queen" someday...She remembered the words of a talk in Conference that talk about that. She made my eyes watery when I heard her words. I felt the spirit so strong when I was helping her to get ready. Right after she got dressed she aksed me if she could say a prayer with me to say tahnk you to her Heavenly Father for such a wonderful moment...I was so touched by this then my heart felt it was gonna explode!.. Her face was glowing the whole time!. I know she is not gonna forget that day ever!.
We took pictures and tape for my family in Chile. We took Kayla for some ice cream to Thanksgiving point after. Melanie, Alan, grandma and Grandpa, and The Swensons went with us. It was really fun for Kayla to be with her cousins, her favorite aunt and her grandparent!. Kayla asked that for dinner we go to Olive Garden, her favorite restaurant so we went...it was so nice to be as a family and hear about how she felt and how happy she was to choose to follow Jesus example.
Kayla is really in touch with the spirit and I can't repeat her words...the only thing I can say is that even at the loudly restaurant we felt a piece of heaven by our little Kaylita...she kept glowing the whole time and she couldn't stop smiling the whole time, neither we ...

The Parade

The Parade was on Monday, July 5th this year. We got there and met with Grandpa, Grandma and Becky and her family. Grandma took Nicole so Dominique and Kayla were really happy. They had lots of fun together!...Grandma invited us for lunch at her house. Becky, Anna and Devin Harr went too. Devin is so handsome...well, like every single nephew we had anyways!...We played games and had a good laugh at grandpa and grandma trying to understand the games. We spend the whole afternoon at grandmas and then went home exhausted!..at least me...I was totally done with the whole 4th of July thing!...We had a good nap and a really nice evening as a family.

Kayla's Bday Party at Melanie's House

On Sunday,July 4th, We went to Melanie's house to celebrate Kayla's Bday...It was awsome!. Keith, Albenia and her family were there also,cooking Salvadorenian food. Albenia's niece made "cuban beans" ...it was so delicious!...everybody had 2nds!. Kayla got her presents and Grandma and grandpa came too. We stayed over night. When everybody else left we played games with Melanie, Alan, Kyle, me and the girls...we had so much fun!...at night we sat outside under a beautiful star filled..and we talked talked and talked.
The girls as always were really spoiled by their auntie Melanie and slept in their "princess room".
I can't believe my "misifulina" is 8 years old already!..time has fly and my baby is growing into a beautiful young lady. She is funny and sweet, strong personality. She has a testimony of the gospel herslef. Our family woulnd't be what it is without her. We love her and need her to be complete!. Te amo !

4th of July... BBQ and Fireworks on the Block

We were planing on going to the Provo Temple field to see the fireworks like we do every year...but...I wasn't too excited about it this time, because last year we got into a huge traffic jam and took us 3 hours to get home!..and just thinking about it made me totally out of the mood to go this year...plus, this year it the traffic between Provo and Lehi has been way worst with all the road constraction which is going on so, if last year we made in 3 hours I couldn't even think on how long it would take us this time with everything going on around....beside we were invited to the neighborhood party...and I kept trying and trying to convence the girls to stay for the neighborhood party with all of their friend here...but not luck until like just 10 or 5 minutes before we were heading to Provo when Dominique came to me telling me she wasn't feeling good. I touch her forehead because she look pretty bad...and she was burning in fever!...she was complaining before she had a headache and took a 3 hour nap...but after she got chills and fever...so, we, finally!...and thank to a virus...hahaha. we stayed home and went to the neighborhood party. Dominique decided to stay in a little bed that Kayla made for her in the car sleeping and if she felt better she could joined us...the car was right by us so it wasn't any problem with that. We were gonna stayed home but that wasn't fare for Kayla. We had a wonderful time. We aet , played , and talked all right here!...then after a while Mimi was feeling better and she had a great time too. We watched the Thanksgiving Point fireworks from home and its was perfect!..they were really close I didn't even know twe could see them from here so well...it was way better than the BYU ones...I'm talking about closiness...so, there we were, singing to our ...everybody happy!

My Mother's day Present

One of the thing I have always wanted since I have lived here in Utah is to go and hear the "Spoken Words" at the Tabernacle in Salt Lake. I've been living here for more than 12 years and never been there...isn't crazy?. Well, My girls told me that that their present would be to take me on Mother's day, Sunday morning, down there.
We couldn't so it for Mother's day and for a couple of Sundays because the weather...but this Sunday we had a nice morning trip to Salt Lake as a family. It was awesome!!!...we had such a great time and the choir was magnificent!!!...The spirit was so strong and just to see my girls enjoying the music so much and telling that this was the best Sunday ever for them!...They told me that they felt so happy inside and that they knew it was the spirit of God. How nice is that?...I know that this special moments as a family will stay with them forever and I hope that when they have hard time in their life,in the future, they will remember those feelings and remember how and where to find them again. We had a nice driving in the train and a better talk with each of them.

Dominique's NON-Bday Celebration

Last Friday, por fin!! we could celebrate Dominique's NO Bday party!!! after 2 weeks of moving and moving the date because Utah's bipolar weather!. Dominique wanted to celebrate her Bday party in the summer this year. Her real Bday is in January but since we went to Chile and her Bday was in the middle of the summer there she has been asking that from now on she wants her party right before school os over. So we did...We innicially planned it for the first week of May but it was cold and even snowing some days so we kept moving it...until I just had it and I said today and today...I kept checking the weather channel every single day and they said that Thursday 27 was gonna to be ok, so made the invitations and the next day we got them out, I checked again and it said it was gonna be really windy, so I called everybody...because when its windy in Lehi...its reaaaaaaaaaally windy!...so I called everybody and change it for Friday because the weather channel said its gonna be ok so I decided to started at 1.30pm until 3.00pm because after that it was gonna get cloudy and windy...so we got up so happy with a wonderful beauty sunny day...the theme of the party that Dominique choose was "Hawaian" and we were gonna have the water slide and sprinklers etc,etc,etc,...well...at 1.15pm it started to get really cloudy and windy...the girls said a prayer that at least the wind will stop...it was still pretty warm but the wind was getting colder and colder. Well as you can see in the pictures when nobody was here yet the sun was beautiful and shiny as soon as everybody got here its started to getting colder and colder... "boomer". The girls still got a blast!..no matter what they still had a wonderful time!. Thanks Melanie who brought some games to play inside so when it got pretty cold everybody got inside and play. The cups cakes turned really cute...I didn't sweat it at all...I just made cup cakes , put cream and decorated them with flower rings on top, that's it!...and for food...because it was "Hawaian" got diferent drinks...colory drinks, babanas, strawberries, pineapples, jellow, in diferrent colors too...roofbeer icecream...and potato chips, salsa and chips for the salsa. It was fun and 22 of Dominique's friends made it from the 25 she invited. Mia, Brenna and Mary stayed for a sleepover. So the party kept going on for a while!...Me?...I was exausted!!..I went to sleep at 9pm I was totally out by then!. I was really happy to see Mimi's face glowing of joy!..She was so happy that most of her friend made came. She got lost of presents and the one she likes the most was the one her friend made specailly for her...a "home made bread"!!!...Her friend was a little bit worry about her present but I was so proud of Mimi because she made her friend feels her present was the best!...actually it was!!!...it was delicious!. Mimi ate it all alone!. So now I'm planning Kaylita's one...The 4th of July girl!

Sunday Ride

We found this really nice park with a little pond where you can go fishing and barbecue ...it has a really nice trail where you can have a nice walk too. The girls loved to feed the ducks and of course, chased them. Jack, on the other hand, loved to walk and pee in every single tree it was on his way... he made lots of friends!. It was a nice day and a really nice Sunday activity for the family. Anything and everything we can do as a family, together we surely enjoy it!

Kayla was asked to model for a lady's new business. I'm a fan of this girl photography work. Her name is Mary and a few months ago I asked her if she would be interested to teach me photography...she answer she would love to but he didn't have time..but gave lots of advices and checked my Photography blog and gave tons of complements...it was good to hear from somebody who has been in the business for a while and has professional training that my work if more than good!...My made my confidence goes up.
Well she was looking for kids to help her to show her new thing..."head bands". So She asked for Kayla to model for her. Mimi didn't want to, but she went with us to support Kayla first experience in "modeling" something. :)
Kayla had a blast and we got all the shooting session pictures for free!...

General Conference at Home

SATURDAY AND SUNDAY SESSION...EARLY MORNING EGGS HUNT

We watched General Conference at home...Kayla is still 7 she will turn 8 in July so for the October one we will go as a family!. We had a wonderful weekend. The girls have been camping in the family room since Friday. They said they will be camping until next week...the whole Spring Break.
We watched conference and then on Saturday evening we went to grandma's house to dinner. Their cousins were there too. The girls had a wonderful time visiting with The Swensons. Mimi got sad though when she heard about Brenna's b-day party (that same day in the afternoon, right before we got there) cause' they didn't invited them but she did invite Nicole James. She asked me why they never invited them to anything and they do invite Nicole...I didn't have an answer, it hurts to see them hurt. I tried to answer with...Well , Nicole is older...but Mimi is not "tonta" and said Brenna is my age and Nicole is older than Brenna...what else can I say?...I didn't have a better answer, I didn't have an answer at all. It made me sad because they are my daughters and have feelings and I really don't know what to do or say when is something I don't have control of... especially about family and how they do things in a different way than us...or the way we teach our girls.
oh well this week is Spring Break and we will have fun together!...cheer up baby!

COLORING EGGS

Since February 2010 to now.

Well, we haven't written for a few months. I took the Bar in February and I'll find out the results the middle of April. We decided that this time we would do everything different than before, because Andrea and the girls really miss me when I go to the hotel by myself for two days. The girls wanted to go with me and help me relax--yeah right. Actually, they were right--they didn't let me think about the Bar. I didn't have any minutes to myself. Andrea and the girls came to pick me up after work the night before the first day of the Bar. They brought Jack too and we stayed at the Hotel in downtown Salt Lake. They were fighting to see who got to sleep in my bed. Mom was out of the picture--it was just between Kayla and Mimi. They are totally messed up that Andrea was the one who married me. Even Jack was sneaking on the bed. Jack was totally excited about the trip too--he doesn't get out much. He was totally well-behaved the whole time. The motel was like two blocks from the Bar, so we went to breakfast all together, and then they took me to the Bar. The girls yelled, "good luck". Then Andrea, the girls and Jack went for a long walk around downtown. Then they picked me up for a picnic lunch at the Salt Lake city building. They even brought a Frisbee. So between the picnic, the Frisbee, and running behind Jack, I didn't have time to worry about the Bar. So I guess the girls were right in coming. Then they picked me up after and we went to dinner. Then we watched American Idol at the motel and girls were totally happy. Then another fight about who was going to sleep in my bed. It was good because I didn't have time to worry and I was much more relaxed for the Bar. I don't have any idea how I did, but this time I didn't get nervous. However, I feel way better this time because I studied really hard. I felt good last time too, though. But last time I only missed by three points, and I feel better about this time, so we just trust in God.

Then three days later, it was the worst birthday for Andrea because of the 8.8 earthquake in Chile. Andrea couldn't get a hold of her family for five days. She knew they were alive because she talked to a friend who had talked to them for five seconds before the lines went dead. Then when we got a hold of them, we knew how bad it was. It was 8.8 all the way from Concepcion to Santiago, which is like from Boise,ID to San Diego, CA in distance. There was also a tsunami, which affect the same area...it was huge!. Then we watched the earthquake on YouTube and it was amazing how strong it was. Her parents couldn't even run out of the house because it was shaking so hard. They kept falling down and Andrea's mom couldn't get up. Then there were more than 200 aftershocks the next day. Then two days after, they had three aftershocks of 7.7 in less than an hour. So now, if they are talking to Andrea and there is an aftershock, they immediately run outside. A 5.9 earthquake doesn't even phase them now, they are so used to it.
Also, Andrea's dad was taking the discussions, but after the earthquake, the missionaries didn't go back, and her dad has cooled off a bit on getting baptized. They haven't visited him again. But the girls still preach to him. Andrea gave her number to her friend to give to the missionaries, but they haven't called her. So, still keep praying for her dad, and if he dies, Andrea knows he will accept the Gospel on the other side. Andrea's mom is going to get surgery on her hips in about two weeks, and the doctor made her sign a waiver. But she doesn't care if she dies because it's better than walking with the pain in her hips. She really needs the surgery, but the anesthesia is dangerous for her at her age.
Andrea's family loves the Skype. Andrea talks to her mother every day for about two hours while she does her family book on the computer. They love when Andrea calls because she does it at lunch time and they are all together so they put the speaker and they are all able to talk so they always said: "Andrea comes to lunch with us everyday!". Andrea is so happy 'cause she feels close to them because she is able to talk and visit with them through Skye as if she were there with them. They also love to talk to our girls. The girls are doing so well in speaking Spanish. They say our prayers in Spanish and they talk to their grandma, grandpa, uncles and cousins in Chile almost everyday. Now Andrea doesn't have to translate that much for them anymore. It's like when we went to Chile for a visit.
As parents, we are so grateful of our girls because they love to talk to their grandparents in Mapleton and in Chile.

I was called as a Webelos den leader a little while ago. I love it!. It's nice after playing for nine years with ponies and Pet Shops to be able to do boy things again. We get to play with power tools and the boys love it. Andrea is still the 8 year old teacher in Primary and she loves it. They crack her up every single weekend. She always has funny stories to tell. Kayla is in her class. So is Bronson--her worst nightmare. However, he wrote her an apology letter, so she feels better now. Andrea was called to Activity Days too and she looooves it! They do it in our house.
Now we trade babysitting with a young family in our neighborhood. They have five kids. Sam has Down's Syndrome. He is so cute--he doesn't talk but he communicates with sign language. Kayla just loves him. Spencer is the oldest and thinks he is a Ninja. They are all so cute. Andrea is in love with the 5 months old, he is the easiest baby ever!.
Andrea got a Parenting Book from our neighbor, sister Wilson...the bishop's wife. She is a parenting teacher for "Love and Logic" at the Legacy Center in Lehi. She and Andrea have been talking a lot about parenting and she has been helping us tons with some "issues" with our girls...I shouldn't even say "issues"... our girls are WONDERFUL!!!...but I think is more a help for us so we don't mess our girls up. We want to be the best parents we can for them to guide them and teach them what they need in the right way...without fighting, yelling or spanking. It has been great since we have been implementing all the techniques the book teach. Besides Andrea and me are going to a parenting class in our ward the very last Wednesday of each month. It funny and interesting to hear how every single couple has the same issues with their kids. Some of them have shared: " We thought something was wrong with our kids, but we are glad to know they are totally normal and that we are not THE only one in the world with those issues"....of course they were a young couple!..hahaha...everybody was laughing and telling them not to feel bad...all normal kids are the same and used the same tricks to get what they want...hahaha.
So talking about the book and kids trying to trick you to get what they want...here is one example of Andrea's typical day dealing with our girls...this time with Kayla.
Here's how it went for Andrea after telling Kayla she couldn't get more ice cream.
Kayla: why mom?! why!? I'm starving!
Andrea: oh honey, well, there's some apples.
Kayla: but I'm hungry for ice cream! don't you understand!?
Andrea: oh honey...well you can have more ice cream tomorrow...now you can have some
apples.
Kayla: (totally freaking out and yelling) I want ice cream!.
Andrea: Mmmmm...I know...The apples are right on the table honey.
Kayla: (this time right on Andrea's face) Don't you get it...I WANT ICE CREAM!

Andrea: Mmmm...I got it honey...the apples are right on the counter if you are
hungry. ( Andrea trying really hard not to freak out...using all her strengh
not to yell and strangle Kayla...haha)
Kayla: noticing she is not getting what she want or even getting close to make her
mom mad...tries another thing so this time she gets on the bed getting a huge tantrum right in front mom's face pulling her her and getting her face "red" and her eyes almost popping out of her face yells again at her mom.
Kayla: I hate you!...you are the worst mom I have ever have!...You hate me!
Andrea: mmmm...I can see you are really mad at me, honey. When your voice is calm and nice as mine you can come back to my room and we will talk.
Kayla: totally freaking out: I hate you!.
Kayla: Took mom's book and said threaten her mom... "I hate this book!...I'm
gonna burn it! I will reap it off!...putting the book right in front of
mom's face.
Andrea: that's OK with me but right after you are done with the book go right next
door and let sister Wilson and ask her what can you do for her to pay for
the book. You know its her book not mine.
Kayla: why did you have to get this book mom!? Why?! we were a happy family
before and now look!
Andrea: I know...you can go to your room and when you are calm you can come back,
Thanks honey.
Kayla: left the room crying...went to her room still freaking out, slam the her
door.
10 minutes later...
Kayla: came back to Andrea's room...lay down by mom and using her sweetest voi
ce, touching Andrea's face...: mom please don't read that book anymore.
Andrea: biting her lips just said...mmmmm...I love you honey.

then the same day in the evening.
Kyle came back from work. Andrea took a trade with Kyle's dinner to the family room. Kayla got close to Kyle checking what was he getting...when she saw barbecue chicken in Kyle's plate...(she already had her dinner with the same stuff)...said...I want chicken! in a demanding voice.
Kayla: I want chicken!
Kyle: honey, you already had dinner, if you are still hungry go and get
some fruit.
Kayla: I want chicken!
Kyle: mmmm...ok you can get more chicken tomorrow for lunch...now you can get a
fruit or something else.
Kayla: I want chicken...I told you I want chicken!!!
Kyle: in a really calm but strong voice:... mmmmm...Kayla do you wanna go to your
room by yourself or do you want me to take you?
Kayla: got stand up on the couch, hand on her hips and giving THE LOOK, really mad
at Kyle said: have you been reading THAT EVIL BOOK too?!!!
Then she left to her room and came back when she was in a better mood.
Tell me if the book works!
So since then we have been a really "sad" family as Kayla recalls every time she doesn't get what she wants anymore unless she follows OUR rules! which it is...be nice and be obedient!. I have thousands of stories to tell after I got THE EVIL book however most of them are the same thing..."you are not gonna get what you want if you are not nice and obedient." I LOVE THE BOOK!!!...ha

Today we did our Easter eggs with the girls. The bunny will come tonight. For Conference we're playing Conference talk bingo. Well, we'll wrap it up now because the girls just got back from their babysitting. We're watching Conference with all the mattresses down in the living room and having the time of our lives.

Kayla and Mary are "bestest friend" as they call each other. Mary is a really funny girl. She always makes Kayla, me and everybody else laugh. Dominique and Kayla loves to invite her to sleepovers. I'm so glad that her parents are the kind that let her come and have fun with my girls. She lives "back door" from our house. She is Kayla's classmate too. Well the other day in the morning both of them woke up with their faces like this. I was laughing so hard because they have been doing this for a while. They color each other faces while one of them fall asleep first. Mary taught this "funny trick" to Dominique one night when Kayla fall asleep first!...I thought it was so funny!

I got called to Activity Day, whatever the calling's name is. I've been there for a couple of months now and I love it!!!. Dominique wasn't too much into it so now that I'm there she likes to go, besides, Kayla used to complain 'cause she wanted to go but she couldn't because she is not 8 yet, she will turn 8 in July...so now she goes with us and she loves it more than anybody else!...She feels grown up hangin'out with all the 8 years old girls. All the girls in our group are really nice and all of them are my girls from my 8 years old class...that's my other calling , I'm the teacher of the 8 years old in Primary. Love it! love it! love it!. I have so much fun in Primary...I wouldn't change my calling for anything...actually they try to move me and I refused! ha. I've been in Primary for more than 7 years now. I feel so " at home" with the kids...I've learned so much form them specially how much they know about our Heavenly Father, but not because they read about Him but because they believe in Him without questioning. I have felt the spirit more with them than any other way or people with this calling than anyway before. I'm amazed with the way they express them self about our Heavenly Father and the way they trust in Him.
Here are some pictures of the Fashion Show with newspaper. The girls needed to make their own "modest designs" and then modeling. They had a blast! Last week I decided to do the "prayer mat" so we got pieces of carpet and then they paint on them the word "pray" or "prayer" so they will put it by their beds so they will remember to pray in the mornings and nights. They were really into it!...they came up with beautiful prayer mats!

Dominique's Class Field Trip

I always said to myself before a field trip :" I'm not gonna drive the bus with all those kids" but Mimi always come to me and "make" me change my mind...and then...there I go again...ending with a humongous migraine!. I can't understand WHY they have to yell and scream and got totally wild in a tiny bus, don't they see that I'm getting old? I had a great time anyways. We went to different places. The Bank so the kids will learn how and why to save. A Market, to see and learn about healthy food...and finally and the funnest part...Bowling!...I have to say, even that its hurts a little bit that Ivan won, Mimi was 2nd place and I got the 4th place. I had 6 kids in my group. They were great!. I love to help in Mimi's class. Her teacher is so nice and she always makes me feel like her friend. Did I say before what did she do the other day?...I think I didn't...I haven't say anything about the Mega Earthquake in Chile in my blog yet...but it was terrible!. well, Dominique's teacher, Mrs Clark wrote me a note right after, the earthquake was on a Saturday and on Monday I got the letter from her asking about my family and telling me that she has been praying for them since she heard the news...she was fasting for them that weekend. Its really touched me. So, I feel really bless for her as Mimi's teacher. Not just because the letter but because of what she did showed me what kind of a person she is, and I'm so glad that Mimi has such an great example on her as a person.

Dominique and Kayla came to me with a schedule that they had been working on the whole day...Schedule for what? see it yourself.
OH how I love my girls!!!. I couldn't ask for better girls than the ones I have,uh?!. I wish I could have the memory to remember all the funny stuff they do and say through the day...one day I will just start writing just those..it will be a book to laugh and have the best memories of all!!!. I insist...oh how I love my girls!

Daddy Girls Dancing ...A Night to Remember

The girls School had a "Daddy Daughter Dance" last night. It was a dress up dance, kind of a "prom" dance. Kayla was so excited to have her first "special dance". She was thinking about her outfit and make up the whole week, what she was going to wear and how the make up has to be...Dominique was in a no mood for the dance at all. She keep telling me she is a tomboy...that's what I need!...I love to see her girly and all cute and she is in the other extreme...grrrrrrrr!. I got a beautiful pink dress for her...it looked like a princess, all glamorous...she hated it!. Why! Why me!?, she said she looked silly, what the heck!...Kayla, instead, was asking me for make up and doing her hair...not to say what a drama was to do Mimi's hair. Kayla asked me for nylons...Mimi,wanted to go on her winter boots because they were comfy!..What?!, "comfy" is not stylish or cute!.
We went to pick Kyle up at work so they could be on time.
Dominique finally got on Kayla's church black dress...that's why it looks a little bit short.
Everything was adorable. They, the school, even took pictures (just like a prom pictures )with all the girls and their daddies. It was awesome to see all the daddies with their little girls dancing and having a blast. I just saw huge smiles everywhere!.
My heart was full of emotions to see Dominique and Kayla having their first dance with their daddy...its every little girl dream,uh?.
What a special night of memories to have forever!

Kyle is done with the Bar Exam...the last day was yesterday!. Yeah!!!...He is so happy that it is over!. We wont know the result until the end of April. We stayed with him at the Hotel in Salt Lake. We even took Jack with us this time!. We had a lot of fun and I could see that Kyle didn't even have time to think or get nervous at all about the exam with the girls around him. The girls didn't leave him alone one bit!. Tuesday morning we went to have breakfast as a family and then at 7.50am. we took Kyle to the Bar Exam Building...He looked totally relax and confident. The girls, me and of course...Jack, decided to go for a walk around down town Salt Lake. The weather was great it was 49. The hotel was just a couple of blocks from the visitor center. It was nice to see people and "life". We picked Kyle up for lunch and went for a picnic at the park. We played Frisbee and run, run, run. Then ...took Kyle for the second part of the test...he finished at 5.30pm . We went for dinner had lots of fun and went back to the hotel. We played some more and then the girls collapse..they went to sleep without any warning..they were so tired!...even Jack went night night early!...Mimi didn't let me sleep with Kyle...you know, she is his little wife. She has to be with her daddy. She is daddy's girl. Kayla slept with me and Jack...with me too. He is a mama's boy.
I'm so glad it is over! the study, stress and time away from Kyle its over!. he hard thing it the waiting now. 2 Months is a long time... anyways, we are happy to be able to go with him and support him and love him as he deserved.
The girls had a wonderful time they love hotels they said its remind them moving from city to city and being happy as a family.
We watched American Idol last night all together for the first time in a long time ... it so nice the feeling of not to have to worry about anything...I'm feeling like this I can't even imagine how does it feels for Kyle!...oh well
We have way more to celebrate this week...first the end of the Bar...and Our 10 years of anniversary and my B-day! so there will be more to say next week...see ya later alligator!

Well we were waiting for this moment for a long time. Actually Kayla was waiting, she wanted her money from the fairy so bad but her tooth was stuck in a little tiny corner. "POR FIN! el diente se cayo in school time, during lunch, on Monday. Kayla was so excited. She went to bed that night and the first thing she did was...yep, put her tooth under the pillow for the Fairy. I couldn't believe how fast she fell asleep!. The next morning was even more excited,she found the money under her pillow, $3 dollars!...We had a little "talk" with the "Tooth Fairy" that day... "she" wanted to leave just $.25c I told "her" ,she was being a little bit "cheap"..."she" said to me that that was how much "she" used to get when "she" was little...I remained "her" that that was 40 YEARS AGO!!!. "she" got the point!.

Well As you see Dominique has been trying to help Kayla with her loosy tooth!...They have been trying everything they could think of...without any luck!...I think they have been a little bit "extreme"...but Kayla said to me: But I want the money mom!...And Mimi was offered with a "reward" IF the tooth would came out! They are so funny!. You can't tell me my life is boring with this two "muffins" I have for daughters!. I always say, that they are my HAPPIFIERS!!! and its so true!
