Makeover....?

Mimi did her own makeover. She came to me that day and told me: "look mom I did my make up allllll by myself!". I looked and I loved how talented she was! The markers stayed for a little while. They were washables but they weren't THAT much "washable" :(
My life is pretty busy with my two little "angels"...everyday they come up with something different.

Are you talking to me!?

Kayla and her feisty, funny personality...She got mad at me because I was taking a picture....I love her face! even when she is mad she looks cute. She always makes me laugh with what she has to say. This is Kayla's "everyday mood"...Gotta love her!...She is funny, isn't she?

Christmas Eve dinner

We invited all the missionaries for Christmas Eve. I made Chilean food. We barbecued...oh well,... tried!... I wanted to have a Chilean Christmas dinner...but I forgot that in Chile is summer and here ..WINTER, -10 degrees sooo...not the greatest idea to even try to light the BBQ because it was frozen!... Kyle lit the barbecue and it caught on fire...oops! It was pretty late at that time and the missionaries were almost here. I had to come up with an idea...so I decided to put the meat in my wok...it didn't work!...the elders were here already...so Kyle came to the rescue!...Meanwhile Mimi and Kayla kept bugging me to open the presents!!...everything was going wrong....and I wanted to kill the cat I didn't have at that point!. Oh well, Kyle barbacued with charcoal, it took longer and the elders had to wait but it worked fine. I learned that no more Chilean BBQ for Christmas in USA. The food was great and I was happy ...the girls? not really, they still wanted to open presents and the "meany mom" said : "noooooot yet!"...then our spiritual moment, wasn't "that" spiritual trying to keep Jack from stealing baby Jesus from the nativity, the girls trying to sneak out with a present...etc,etc,etc.
We finally finished with the "white elephant present exchange". It was really fun and funny!. I was happy that everybody was gone at 8:00pm. and after a few minutes our girls went to bed !!!...Santa needed to come so they didn't have any problem falling asleep. Thank you so much Santa!...I need it a break!.

Christmas

We had a lot of fun making a Ginger Bread House. Kyle was totally stressed out about the structure of the house. I was laughing a lot! I thought he was going to get an ulcer. The girls kept eating all the decorations and frosting, thanks heaven we made it before it was too late!.

Ice storm
